The Arrowsmith Home Proves How Micro-Living Can Be Compact & Yet Comfortable & Cozy

Called the Arrowsmith Tiny Home, this lovely dwelling is the perfect mix of minimal design and high-end finishes. It features a spacious two-bedroom layout, with all the essentials and comforts you would need. The home on wheels is cleverly designed and highly functional. You can live in a compact home with all the comforts of a traditional home. It is designed by Left Coast Tiny Homes – a small tiny home builder in British Colombia. You can order the home in different sizes. The options range from 32 to 40 feet in length with a width of 8.5 or 10 feet. It is built on a triple-axle trailer and is blessed with generous dimensions.

The Arrowsmith Tiny Home features a fully-equipped kitchen, a cozy living space with a propane fireplace, a downstairs bedroom, and a sleeping loft. It also includes a bathroom that doubles up as a laundry room. The layout is quite traditional, with the living room functioning as the central space of the house. The kitchen is placed at one end, and the ground-floor bedroom on the other. The kitchen as mentioned is well-equipped with full-size appliances and generous countertop space. It also includes a large apron sink, a large refrigerator, a full range, a microwave/hood, and a dishwasher. Custom-built floor-based and overhead cabinets have been added to the space as well.

As you further enter the home, you are welcomed by a cozy living space. It includes a comfortable sofa, a fireplace, and a wall-mounted TV. There are little ledges next to the sofa, to make space for different decorative items. A set of ledges serves as stairs to the sleeping loft, making for a space-saving solution, and cutting down the need for a ladder or bulky staircase. The home features two bedrooms, and the ground-floor bedroom includes a queen-size bed. It is comfortable with the privacy of a traditional bedroom. The second bedroom is more like a loft space, and it includes a full-sized bed. It also features soft neutral colors and an accent wall made using light wood slats.

The bathroom boasts a black-and-white design that is quite elegant with high-quality fixtures. It also features a large walk-in shower with tiled walls, a toilet, vanity, and a stacking washer/dryer for the ultimate convenience. The tiny home merges luxury with comfort and accessibility, creating a space that feels simple yet comfortable. It offers an innovative and unique take on micro-living.
